Alanis Nadine was born 1 June 1974, in Ottawa, Canada. Alanis' Greek is a female variant of the name Alan's father's. The name of her mother is Georgia and she has two brothers, Chad as well as Wade (Alanis"Twin"). When she was just 6 She learned to play piano. And then, when she turned 21 she became a guitarist.
